Harry Ratcliffe

Beograd 1966

May 8th Belgrade - int
Harry Ratcliffe 1st.

Our first venture to the continent was to Belgrade Yugoslavia for the Kalemagden Motor race. Our entry was at the request of B.M.C. who could not be represented du to commitments elsewhere. Harry Ratcliffe won outright making this our best achievement ever in motor racing. The reception to our win was fantastic, with full press and T.V. coverage. The main achievement was to boost the B.M.C. export drive which without a shadow of doubt we succeeded in doing.
Harry was driving the same car that won the Aosta Pila Hill Climb.
