Thank you for your email, and please accept our apologies for the delay in replying, but it was a bank holiday here on Monday, and yesterday we were extremely busy trying to catch up. As Graham is away on holiday, I have had to pick up the pieces on this one, and I fully understand your annoyance, the question is, how do we deal with this?
Probably the best way is for us to send you the correct steering wheel at no extra cost to yourself, and if you return the incorrect one in the cheapest way possible, we will refund the postage to you as soon as the steering wheel is back with us. If this is acceptable, I will process it immediately.
I think what has happened is that the part number on the box was correct, but they did not check what was inside. I appreciate your comments that it was an unacceptable mistake, but if we had to unpack every single part, we would never get anything out of the door. It seems our suppliers have let us down on this occasion. Please advise how you wish us to proceed.
